Public Opening
Manderston, its buildings, park and gardens form an ensemble which is unique in
Britain, Georgian in taste, but with all the elaborate planning for Edwardian
convenience and comfort. Visitors will find much to enjoy including Britain's
first privately-owned Biscuit Tin Museum. Snacks and teas are served for
visitors on Open Days and there is a shop selling souvenirs.
Open Days
The House is open from mid-May to the end of September on Thursdays and
Sundays. The gardens are open from 11.30 am until dusk and the house is open
from 1.30pm until 5pm. Last entry at 4.15 pm.
Parties are welcome on any day of the year by appointment (min 15 people).

There is a tea room open from 11.30am on open days serving teas, snacks and
light lunches. The tea room may also be booked for coach parties.
