Marble Hall

What an entrance! Arriving at Manderston you enter the stunning Marble Hall with ornate fireplace and intricate decoration, a grand space for meetings, receptions, dancing and more.

Ballroom & Drawing Room

Interconnecting rooms flooded with natural daylight, the Ballroom is enhanced by bright silk embossed with velvet on the walls complimented by gold and silver thread drapes. Double doors open to the Drawing room decorated in the sumptuous style of the house together these spaces can hold up to 120 guests for a dinner.

Grand Dining Room

This room with it’s ornate cornicing, beautifully created artworks and large windows overlooking the front lawn offers a spectacular venue for a private lunch or dinner for up to 20 guests or a relaxing location for an afternoon tea.  It can also be used as a meeting space or for a drinks reception.

Traditional Kitchen

You really have stepped back in time when you arrive in the original kitchens, located in the basement of Manderston amongst the original servants quarters you can give your guests a real authentic experience. Ideal for cookery demonstrations or classes, food and drink tastings, storytelling, or even just a glass of fizz and a canape or two while guests immerse themselves in days gone by.

Boat House

Located at the lake the wood panelled cosy Boat House is ideal for a small dining event, or larger events such as drinks receptions and BBQ’s where your guests can spill onto the decking and surrounding grounds at the waters edge. Time it right and you are faced with the most stunning wall of Rhododendrons and the array of colour they provide.

Cloisters

An  outdoor area ideal for a drinks reception, buffet or BBQ this area benefits from both covered and uncovered space – ideal for all weathers!

This area can be dressed with lanterns, lights or themed to your event to create the atmosphere you are looking for. A bit of a blank canvas awaiting your ideas!

Marble Dairy

Located at Cloisters the original marble dairy would be special space for a cheese tasting, pair with wine of even whisky this small  space is truly unique. 

The Tower

Accessed from beside the diary another hidden gem of Manderston is the Tower. Designed to look like a Border Keep the stairs lead up to a turret room completely panelled in oak.  Perfect for small events and be sure to enjoy the view.

Stables & Tac room

The magnificent stables are still in use today but this area could make the perfect location for larger events. The stable yard can accommodate large numbers and could be creatively covered to  ensure protection from the elements. A great base for a  large outdoor event, for dining, drinks and more. The Tac room could offer a unique space for an event, private dining or dinks maybe?

Formal Gardens & Land

Acres of land offer endless possibilities for events. Whether it be an outdoor team building event, mini highland games, falconry or jousting display, BBQ, drinks reception or dining in a Marquee anything goes.

The House and Gardens are open to the public at certain times throughout the year.  Manderston can also be hired for events and weddings. Enquiries are most welcome.
